I'm Going to Make a Wild Guess Here, and Suspect That Bryan Singer Did Not Direct the Bulk of "Jack The Giant Slayer"

It seems to me that when someone has a track record like this in not getting projects made....

Bryan Singer's Aborted Project / Fake Press Release List - Volume 1

And then suddenly has a movie coming out next month with his name attached as the director, things just don't seem to add up.

I'm going to put forth a theory. I could be very wrong but I'm going to put the theory forward anyway.

Based upon Bryan Singer's above track record, I find it a possibility that the the bulk of principal photography on "Jack The Giant Slayer" was actually completed by uncredited assistant directors, with Bryan Singer occasionally dropping by the set to give everyone a pep talk. Or perhaps if Bryan Singer directed anything from this movie at all, it was second unit stuff or insert shots. After that perhaps, he showed up in post-production to do a final edit. Perhaps he was a "Directing Consultant" so to speak on this movie. Is there such a thing in Hollywood yet?

I could be wrong here, but it is a possibility based upon Bryan Singer's above track record. The mental image of Bryan Singer sticking with a movie long enough to do and finish every detail of it from beginning to end just doesn't register anymore.
