Oh, Gosh & Golly!! Universal Studios Has Licensed Another Crappy "Battlestar Galactica" Product to Be Put Out!!

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=16465

We first start off with a beautiful cover painted by legendary comics artist Alex Ross. No problem there. Great likenesses of the original actors.

The problems start when you get past the front cover and open the book. The interior was not drawn by Alex Ross, but rather some "second rate artist reject" from Marvel Comics circa 1980. Adama with a goatee? Please!!

The problems continue!!.....

quote - "MEMORIAL Part 1! 2013 marks the 35th anniversary of the original Battlestar Galactica TV series and to celebrate Dynamite is launching a brand new series, written by cosmic supremos, Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning (Legion, Nova, Guardians of the Galaxy)! Set in classic BSG continuity, this series celebrates 35 years of epic space opera when, following a surprise Cylon attack, Adama and the crew of the Galactica are forced to deploy Dr Zee's experimental temporal weapons with unexpected results that leave Apollo and Starbuck lost in time and space in an alternate reality with no Galactica and no way of returning home!" - unquote

I finally realized that one of the millions of problems Universal Studios has always had in their mismanaging of "Battlestar Galactica" on purpose is their honest to gosh inability to tell good storytelling from bad storytelling. Universal Studios is unable to decipher and realize that "Galactica: 1980" was crappy storytelling at its worst. That "Dr. Zee" was a crappy character invented by a crappy scriptwriter (Glen A. Larson.)

So, what does Universal Studios do? In its infinite corporate stupidity it fuses "Galactica: 1980" and "Battlestar Galactica" into one crappy storyline.

Of course, this is the same Universal Studios unable to tell (and didn't care) that Ronald D. Moore's take (storytelling) on "Battlestar Galactica" was utter crap.

I'll buy a few copies for when I run out of toilet paper the next time around. I'll save the cover and wipe my rear end with the rest of it.

Let's see if I have Universal Studios "Vendor List" down pat so far for "Battlestar Galactica"......

1. If Universal Studios never wants a "Battlestar Galactica" movie to get made, they turn to Bryan Singer.

2. If Universal Studios wants a crappy and poorly made rendition of "Battlestar Galactica" to be made for television, they turn to Ronald D. Moore.

3. If Universal Studios wants a crappy "Battlestar Galactica" comic book published, they turn to "Dynamite Comics."

Well, things are really shaping up nicely, aren't they?

Read the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com...

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.
