Shameful Moments In SyFy Channel History #1: Ripping Off The "Seven of Nine" Character With "Six"

http://www.syfy.com

..."Six".... from Ronald D. Moore's..."GINO" - (Galactica In Name Only) series was..."Seven of Nine".... from..."Star Trek: Voyager".....in a cocktail dress.

1. Both characters have a numerical designation.

2. Both characters dress in slutty clothing to attract male viewers.

3. Both characters are instantly disposable and not vital to the story.

4. Both characters woo the male characters with sex appeal and create sexual anxiety for the male characters in the crew.

5. Ronald D. Moore worked on both shows that had both characters.

6. It hadn't been too long ago when Moore had just come off of the..."Rick Berman Star Trek Franchise"...when he at the time ripped off..."Seven of Nine"...with...."Six"....

7. The character just had to be named...."Six"....? Not Gladys or Cindy, or even something cosmic like....."Sapphire"....or...."Little Dipper"....?

8. Ronald D. Moore....made no attempt to hide his..."Star Trek"....affiliation when he whipped up...."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only.) Even going as far as carrying over..."Star Trek Techno-Babble"....to...."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only.) These are a few of the many reasons why this series permanent home is the...."Wal-Mart $5.00 Discount DVD Bin"....buried underneath copies of...."Bugs Bunny / Road Runner Hijinks"....and...."Night Court Fan Favorites"....

Lazy producing and script writing did in..."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only)....long before it ever got out of the...."Starting Gate"....

Both the character and the show itself overall had absolutely nothing to do with...."Battlestar Galactica."....It's truly amazing (and ever so convenient for the interested parties) how little details like that got lost in the deal making.

They did swipe the title by the way. I will give them that!!

Read the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com...

http://languatron.freeforums.org/viewforum.php?f=60

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.
