Whatever happened to David Eick's "Thunderstruck" series for the AMC Network?

Just what is it with all of the aborted projects of Bryan Singer, Ronald D. Moore, and David Eick?

One thing we do know. Singer, Moore, and Eick have been tied to the hips of NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel for a very, very long time.

And David Eick has yet another aborted project for CBS!!

I say again...Just what is it with Bryan Singer, Ronald D. Moore, and David Eick? Are the three of them always determined to be commodities not worth banking on at the last minute by these various movie and television entities initially interested in their projects? The initial approval of their projects always coming from middle management and the VETO always coming from higher management?
