There Has Always Been a Philosophy Within Universal Studios That is "Creepy", "Unsettling" and "Deeply Disturbing" When it Comes to "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" Series

I knew it would be a "Cold Day in Hell" before Universal Studios would ever release the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series on Blu-Ray and this proves it. Instead of a Blu-Ray release here in the United States where all of the profits are to be had, Universal Studios is instead re-releasing the technically flawed (badly manufactured) "Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Epic Series" DVD set from October 2003. Scheduled  for re-release in February 2014.

This leads me to believe that Universal Studios has not been taking proper care of the original negatives of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series since October 2003, and that they are now in no shape for a proper Blu-Ray release. I suspect that the German Blu-Ray release of this series will just be this DVD set transferred over to Blu-Ray, with the degradation in quality of overseas releases Universal Studios is notorious for being on full display for the Germans to see.

Now, I have sounded the alarm many times here on my blog about my believing Universal Studios was not taking care of the original negatives of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series during the past decade and it seems now my suspicions have come to full fruition and physically evident. Universal Studios is now unable to give this series a proper Blu-Ray release due to another decade of them allowing the original negatives to deteriorate even further due to improper storage conditions of this series at Universal Studios.

Since this release scheduled for February 2014 is nothing more than a re-release of the technically flawed October 2003 set, with all of the freezing discs and the grainy transfer of the pilot episode making an unwelcome return, we can see that Universal Studios still hasn't modified its internal corporate procedures for the better in responding appropriately to the widespread consumer complaints about this DVD set going on (and still going on) for the past decade and counting.

Isn't it old fashioned as well to be releasing any television series on DVD now in this day and age and not Blu-Ray? This is 2013 after all. DVD is going the way of 45 R.P.M. records and turntables to make way for Blu-Ray. Every television series is being released on Blu-Ray now.  Industry wide standard procedure in 2013. So...what gives with this archaic DVD set release in 2013, Universal Studios? I already know the answer....I just want to hear you say it. Don't be shy like you always are, Universal Studios.

Read the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com...

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.
