NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel 2014: The Year In Review

April 8th, 2014 - NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel proved once again in 2014 that it just couldn't survive as a business unless it made one of its..."Biennial Fake Battlestar Galactica Movie Press Releases." A dishonest practice it begain in 2001.

October 17th, 2014 - Through gritted teeth determination, NBC-Universal still clings to the erroneous notion that Ronald D. Moore's "GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only) series has anything to do with "Battlestar Galactica." Going so far as to combine...."The 1978 Battlestar Galactica Series"....and "GINO" into one book. Having done so even after Ronald D. Moore had long since admitted multiple times that his "GINO" series was in fact, his remake of "Star Trek: Voyager" (with a dark and gritty twist) and was using the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name only. So, we ended up with a book that was 70% incompatible junk ("GINO") with the real "Battlestar Galactica"...."The 1978 Battlestar Galactica Series"....which was about 30% of the book. If Universal Studios ever did a decent coffee table sized book of the..."The 1978 Battlestar Galactica Series"....it would be a miracle.

2014 proved once again that NBC-Universal's SyFy Channel is nothing but a status quo leopard that will never change its spots. Still devoid of any discernible and singular on-air identity, the SyFy Channel (as it has been doing during the past 15 years under Universal's mismanagement) continues to bounce around from wrestling, to badly produced Z-Grade horror movies, to even worse reality shows, to bland and barely passable attempts at Science Fiction, to rip-offs of..."The Walking Dead"...(Z Nation)....and...."John Carpenter's Thing Movie"....(Helix)...to the SyFy Channel's inexplicable infatuation with..."Sharknado", to the recent astonishing addition of.... "C.S.I".....reruns, with nothing resembling a singular and discernible on-air identity. SyFy Channel remains a broken cable channel its owners have no intention of fixing or defining.

Read the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com...

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.
