Every Time David Howe Talks About "Battlestar Galactica", Disaster is Just Around The Corner

David Howe is the typical Universal Studios / SyFy Channel executive with the sort of "Rap Sheet" one has come to expect from those who routinely come into contact with the "Battlestar Galactica" property at Universal Studios and SyFy Channel.

1. He isn't a Science Fiction fan.
2. He isn't a "Battlestar Galactica" fan.
3. His college background consists of a Masters Degree in Marketing instead of common sense.
4. He believes himself to know what is best for the "Galactica" property even though he really doesn't.

What's that, David? "Battlestar Galactica" is such an amazing property that a "Battlestar" television series doesn't have to be on the air at any time to prove how amazing the property is? Why didn't you and your partners in crime (Bonnie Hammer, Mark Stern) think of that long before you put Ronald D. Moore's trash on the air ("GINO", "Caprica"?) Why don't you think of that now and kill "Blood & Chrome" before it ever reaches the air?

Yes...David. "Battlestar Galactica" is such an amazing property that it is indeed bigger than you and all of your thug colleagues at Universal Studios and SyFy Channel. It's so big in fact...that it is surviving all of the bullshit that you and your thug colleagues at Universal Studios and SyFy Channel have been putting the property through during the past decade. The property is surviving and is still waiting for better copyright owners to come along (anyone other than you, David) and revive it in its only proper form...as it was and is in the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series.

Would you like some career advice, David? You suck at what you do. I'm not saying that to be mean. That is a thoroughly objective evaluation of your job performance at the SyFy Channel. Everytime you and one of your thug colleagues begin talking about "Battlestar Galactica"...bad things happening are always on the horizon. You see David...It isn't good enough that you think you know what you are doing with the "Battlestar Galactica" property. It isn't good enough that your thug colleagues at Universal Studios and SyFy Channel think they know what they are doing with the "Battlestar Galactica" property. All that matters David...is that the general public thinks you do indeed know what you are doing with the "Battlestar Galactica" property because David....the general public is where your revenue comes from if they so choose to focus their peepers on your stupid ass channel...and bring you advertising revenue in the process.

The gereral public has already spoken, David. They don't like what you have been doing with "Battlestar Galactica" via Ronald D. Moore's sham take on it. Both "GINO" and "Caprica" suffered from low ratings. Do you want to go the low ratings route again with "Blood & Chrome?" Why are you ignoring the general public, David? You can't build a "Battlestar" franchise if the public isn't with you. And indeed...they haven't been with you for the past decade. The public has to initially approve of what you're doing (huge ratings) before you move ahead with franchise plans. They haven't and they presently don't. What makes you think the years ahead will be any different in trying to build a franchise on Ronald D. Moore's sham take on "Battlestar Galactica"...already long since rejected by the general public?

Ronald D. Moore's sham take on "Battlestar Galactica" was a big success for you, David? By what measure? The fake accolades your "Guerrilla Style Stealth Marketing Machine" bought for you? The credibility in question award you received from Harlan Ellison? The highly implausible invite to the United Nations? The ratings data the Sci-Fi Channel chose to rig in order to make the ratings appear much larger than what they actually were? The Sci-Fi Channel's penchant for arguing with the general public on Internet bulletin boards whenever the general public expressed their honest, negative opinion of what you were doing with "Battlestar Galactica?"

By what measure, David? Tell us.
